Prosper de Roos is an artist, writer and educator based in Amsterdam. His practice spans sound works, photography, philosophy, text and interactive media. Through narrative, participatory and hybrid forms, he creates works that invite reflection on perception, space, interconnectedness and ways of inhabiting a changing world.

Alongside his artistic practice, de Roos engages in education through labs and workshops that explore the intersections of philosophy, storytelling, and creative imagination.

Prosper studied Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, and Fine Arts at St. Joost School of Art & Design. He has worked for, among others, HKU, Vrije Hoge School, Publieke Omroep, Oorzaken Festival, Avans Hoge School, Artez, Humanistisch Verbond, Crea Universiteit van Amsterdam, Utrecht University.

His works have been nominated for: Prix Europa, Prix Marulic, Best of IDFA on tour, SXSW festival, TopTen Cologne international Film & Television Conference, Portobello Filmfestival London, National Media Museum Bradford, Schieblok IFFR, Rooftop Festival New York, among others.
